Ronald A Currie, "Ron", age 89, of Bridgetown, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 19, 1932 to Archie and Ruth Currie (nee Ardnt).
He was preceded in death by mother and father, his son Brian Currie, his daughter-in-law Julie Currie and his brother Darwin Currie.
Ronald is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Dolores "Dee" Currie (nee Weber), his children, Scott Currie, Susan (Kevin) Bossman, Craig (Michelle) Currie and daughter-in-law Bette Anne Currie. Ron is the grandfather of Matthew, Caroline, Amanda, Kyle, Adam and Taylor.
Ron worked as a service tech for National Cash Register and is a US Navy Korean War Veteran. He loved to play golf at the Greater Cincinnati courses, scoring a Hole-in-One three times. He is a huge Detroit Red Wings and Tigers fan.
Visitation in the Gathering Space of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 9:00 AM until the funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Burial with Military Honors will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery.
