Steele, Ron D. age 77, of Colerain Township, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. He was born in Corbin, Kentucky on July 3, 1941 to Moses and Mildred Steele (nee Moore).
He was preceded in death by his father, Moses Steele; mother, Mildred Steele; sons, Ronald Steele, Jr. and Steven Steele; sister, Patsy Steele; and brother, Raymond Steele. Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Mary Steele (nee Morgan); daughter, Rhonda Schmidt; grandchildren, Zackery (Jordan) Schmidt and Eric (Allison) Schmidt; great-grandchild, Julia Schmidt; brother, Ed (Betty) Steele; sister, Mary Helton; and a host of other family members and friends.
Ron served as a Drill Sergeant in the Army and was a member of the Masons. He worked many years as a long distance truck driver and enjoyed his retirement years playing pool, bingo, playing rummy or poker with friends, and target shooting.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at St. Paul United Church-Christ, 6997 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45231.
