Ronnie Scott Allen, age 80, of Covington, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio at General Hospital on January 28, 1944 to Clyde and Myrtle Allen (nee Fields).
He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, wife, Jacklin Estelle Allen (nee Drahos), brother, Rawleigh Eugene Allen, sister, Mildred "Midge" Allen Leblanc and brother-in-law, Mel Brenner.
Ronnie is survived by his beloved children, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Meyer, Kathy (Allan) Rowland, Danny Allen and Rickey (Christy) Allen; grandchildren, Richelle, Jacklin, Holley, Viola, John, Mary Joyce, Jessie, Alicia, Dana, Cheyanne, Sara and Travis; 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Marie (Richard) Fledderjohn (nee Allen); sisters-in-law, Shirley (Keith) Royer and Joyce Brenner; and a host of other family members and friends.
Ronnie met Jacklin, the love of his life, in the 9th grade at Hughes High School in Clifton. They spent 58 wonderful years of marriage together raising their children before her passing in 2020. He was an avid storyteller who loved spending time in nature, and loved horses and horseback riding. Ronnie also had a passion for collecting old marbles and owning muscle cars in his younger years. He was a skilled beef boner at Serv-All-Foods and a painter at Young and Bertke for over 20 years; he retired from the GAP distribution center at age 62. Above all, he was a family man who relished the time he spent with his loved ones during holidays and family gatherings.

A visitation will be held Friday, April 12, 2024 from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm with a service to follow at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, 4350 Dixie Hwy. Erlanger, KY 41018. Burial will take place immediately following at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky.
