Obituary
Rosa Juanita Yarbrough, age 69 of Cincinnati passed away at the Christ Hospital on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 10:30 AM. She was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on April 23, 1942 the daughter of John Henry and Velma Corrine (Meadows) McWhorter. Rosa was married to Clifford Yarbrough Sr., and he preceded her in death on January 16, 2008.
She is survived by two sons, Bryan K. McWhorter and Clifford D. Yarbrough; two daughters, Yolonda L. Lee and her fiancé Rodney, and Rotonda L. Yarbrough and her husband Henry; a sister, Doris Higdon and her husband Claude; a brother, Sam L. Rogers; five grandchildren, Temika Ferguson, Bryan K. McWhorter Jr., Bryan A. McWhorter, Antonio D. Yarbrough, Ray D. Gostion; and numerous other relatives and friends. Rosa was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clifford; a brother, John McWhorter; and a grandson, Larry Ricardo Lee.
Visitation will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231, on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday at 12:30 PM at the Walnut Hills Cemetery, 3117 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206 with Pastor Tracy Ventus officiating.
