HOWELL, Rosalie "Rose", age 77 of Cincinnati passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016. She was born in Cincinnati on July 12, 1939 to the late Carl and Elizabeth (Reynolds) Thiem.
Rose is survived by her beloved husband, Pete Howell; devoted children, Alan Howell and Susan Meirenfeld; three loving grandchildren, Jessica Broering, Elizabeth Mariutto, and Christopher Meirenfeld; three precious great-grandchildren, Elijah, Aryana, and Shelby; and many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 1:30 pm at the St. Joseph Cemetery – New, 4500 Foley Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 5pm until 8pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home – Western Hills Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Ln., Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Family and friends are invited to arrive at Newcomer Funeral Home on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 12noon to process to the cemetery for the funeral ceremony.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be directed to, Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, National Processing Center, Attn: Honor and Memorial Gifts, PO Box 1245, Albert Lea, MN. 56007-9976 or visit their website at www.ccfa.org.
