SWAIN, Rose M. age 80, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2014. She was born on March 5, 1933 to the late Theodore and Edna Waugh Johnson.
She was employed as a secretary for the Guilford Public School System dealing with special needs children for over 30 years. She was a caring, giving mother and grandmother, who loved to dance, cook and she made the best macaroni and cheese. Rose made her own barbeque sauce to go with her "melt off the bone" ribs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jeanne C. Sherman. Rose is survived by her 2 daughters, Stephanie S. Mitchell, Kimberly J. Turnbo and her husband Derryl; grandchildren, Devron, Amber, Alex, Derri, Micah, and Lucas; great-grandchildren, Eli, Ziyon; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
