Rose Marie Spradley

Rose Marie Spradley, was born on September 13, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio from the union of the late Mildred and Frederick T. Suggs, Sr.

Rose was known amongst her family and friends as Reci. Rose attended Robert A. Taft Senior High School and later continued her education at Southwestern College. She was an exceptional student and made the Dean's list in college. Rose was employed at General Motors as a welder and retired after 29 years of service with the company. Rose was a great mentor to her grandchildren, nieces and nephews and they all love her dearly.

Rose was united in Holy Matrimony to Charles Spradley, Sr. and from that union she was blessed with two sons, Charles Spradley, Jr. and Shawn Spradley. She dedicated her life to raising and caring for her sons and grandchildren.

Rose passed away on the morning of October 13, 2011. She always had a smile on her face and asked everyone how they were doing. She is preceded in death by her mother Mildred Key Suggs Stegall, father Fredrick T. Suggs, Sr. and brother Frederick Talmadge Suggs, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Charles Spradley, Jr. and Shawn Spradley. Two sisters Shirley (Bill) Suggs Cheatham-Clark, Millossa Stegall-Munlin; Aunts and Uncles; Sara (Elbert) Key Mason; Doc Suggs, Jr., James Suggs (Cleo), and Clarence Suggs; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; God sisters, Doris Jones-Gibson, JoAnn Clarke, Gladys Ventus and Patricia Carroll, Janice Thompson, Martha Thomas and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 22 from 10:00 am until service time of 11:00 am at New Song Ministries, 821 Ezzard Charles Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203. Interment to follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
