Rosetta Boots

Rosetta Boots, age 88, of Burlington, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024. She was born in Burlington, Kentucky on April 23, 1936 to James and Emma McDaniel (nee Mallicoat). Rosetta was an avid quilter and gardener, she found her ministry in making visits to the nursing homes, and most of all she loved her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, James McDaniel, mother, Emma McDaniel, son, James Nunn, son, Henry Nunn, and sister, Viola Jean Brunner. Rosetta is survived by her beloved husband, Doug Boots, daughter, Anita (Don) Miller, sister, Mary Jane Robinson, sister, Louise Lainhart, sister, Hazel Baker, grandchildren, Scott Collett, Justin Anderson, Emma Rose Nunn, Hazel Nunn, and Morgan Miller, great-grandchildren, Timothy, Greyson, McKinley, Aizen, and Luna; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. A funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm. Family and friends can meet at the cemetery, Beechgrove Holiness Cemetery, Big Jimmy Hill Rd, Beechgrove Rd, Burlington, KY 41005, for a graveside service at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
