Home Going Celebration for Rosetta Hunter
Rosetta Hunter was born to the late Ivoser & Bessie Brown on September 17, 1936. Rosetta was raised and educated in Lincoln Heights, Ohio. She departed this life on March 4, 2013. She was united in holy matrimony to Thomas E. Hunter on October 10, 1957.
Rosetta was employed at U.S. Shoes for many years. She had a heart to help others and a deep love for children, which was truly her ministry. Affectionately called, "Mother Rose", received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost under the leadership of Pastor Deborah A. Brown and joined the House of Prayer. During her ministry she served as Pastor's Aide, Nurses Gill, Clean-up committee and was a devout giver and lover of the Word of God. Rosetta would often say "This world is not my home, I'm just passing through".
Rosetta leaves to cherish in her memory, her beloved husband, Thomas E. Hunter and her daughter, Tawanda Hunter; 2 grandchildren, Jayland Michael Thomas Hunter and India Renee Hunter; 8 brothers, (2 preceded her in death), 3 sisters, (1 preceded her in death) and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Rosetta was a big influence in every life she touched, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral service for Rosetta Hunter, age 77 of Cincinnati, will be Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - Hamilton Chapel. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - Hamilton Chapel.
