Rozalind Brown Thomas was born in Cincinnati, Ohio as the only daughter of Howard and Louise Brown. She passed away on the morning of January 23, 2019 quietly. She is survived by her daughter, Alfie, and grandson, Brandon. Rozalind is also survived by her brothers, Anthony and Arnold Brown. There are fourteen nieces and nephews; twelve great nieces and nephews; and seven great-great nieces and nephews.
Rozalind was preceded in death by her parents (Howard and Louise) and her brother, Marcus. She was well loved by cousins, aunts, uncles and close friends.
She spent her formative years growing up in the west end of Cincinnati, Ohio. Rozalind attended Cincinnati public schools and graduated from Withrow High School. While attending Withrow High School, she played in G.A.A., playing volleyball, softball and field hockey. Rozalind later moved to Indianapolis and worked at Fort Benjamin Harrison (U.S. Military Finance Center) and spent time teaching pre-school children. She returned to Cincinnati and worked in retail until she retired.
