Rubin Walker
December 24, 1936 — February 19, 2012
Rubin Walker, known as Nuggie to all was born in Cincinnati, Ohio - to Rubin and Susie (Hillman) Walker – who preceded him in death on February 24, 1936. He was also one of nine children born to this union. Brothers: Homer, Castell Sr., Frank, Mose, Cleophus and Eulice Walker and sisters: Ruth Davis and Mildred McCoy. All whom have also preceded him in death.
Rubin graduated from Old Central High School and immediately went to work for General Motors Fisher Body – located in Norwood Ohio. He also professed his life to Christ at St. Mark Methodist Church.
Rubin grew up in East End and loved that neighborhood dearly and all his friends there.
Quiet, reserved and loyal to his word is how everyone knew him.
After he became ill, you could visit him and talk about God and he would always say, I know.
Rubin leaves to mourn him, Norma Walker (sister in law), and Rosetta Erye (dearest friend) and big host of nieces and nephews, cousins and the East End family and friends.
