Ruby Hatton

Ruby Hatton, age 76, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at her home, surrounded by family. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 1, 1948 to Albert and Viola Wesley (nee Byrd). Ruby attended Casey County High School in Liberty, KY. She was a devoted fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, UK Basketball and enjoyed watching NASCAR; cheering on driver Chase Elliott. Ruby also loved to go fishing, spending time outdoors, scratching lottery tickets and was very proud of her career spanning nearly 35 years with NAPA Auto Parts.


Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; Albert Wesley and Viola Wesley, her husband Arnold Hatton, and siblings Flossie Long, Robert Wesley, Winfred Wesley, John Wesley, and Charlie Wesley.


Ruby is survived by her children; Deana (Sean) Weaver and Rob (Angie) Hatton, grandchildren; Brandon Greene, Heather Arnett, Dawn Nicely, and Travis Hatton, great-grandchildren; Abbie, Mia, Makaylah, Robert, Milah, Negan, Chase, Everlee, and Wade, her siblings; Ernest Wesley, Linda Brown, Earl Wesley, and Brenda Pierce; as well as a host of other family members and friends.


The family will host a celebration of life on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 2:00pm at 235 Center St., Florence, KY 41042.
