Wiley, Ruby Faye age 97, of Erlanger, Kentucky passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023. She was born in Butler, Kentucky on August 12, 1926 to the late John C. and Elsie Elizabeth Green (nee Bradford).
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lilbon L. Wiley, Sr., sisters, Elizabeth Green and Violet Bridewell. Ruby is survived by her beloved children, Gary (Angel) Marsh and Cathy Heckman; siblings, John C. Green, II, Robert Green, William Green and Gloria Green; grandchildren, Lee, Beth, Aaron and Maggie; great-grandchildren, Emily, Breckyn, Zander, Jenna, Josh Julia and Eisley; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Throughout her life Ruby worked in various occupations. In her younger years she worked in local, area factories that contributed to the war effort. Later she worked in the record industry with 17 years alone at Decca Records. Later in life she spent 30 plus years at Chuck E Cheese. She started from the grand opening at the Florence location as a kitchen manager and also trained the kitchen personnel at various locations around Ohio and Kentucky. Her last position was at the "kid check" when she was in her 90's, where she obtained the title "Chuck E Cheese Grandma" by the children who passed through. She was honored for her 90th birthday at the Florence location by employees and family.
She had many interests including, writing poetry, painting and singing in the church choir. She also participated in the Senior Olympics, where she won several medals for winning various events. Ruby will be missed by all who knew her.
