Ruby Mae Woods

Ruby Mae Woods was born on January 8, 1931 the youngest of five children to Robert and Mary Dixon. What friends and family will remember about Ruby is that she loved their company and the pleasure she had seeing them at gatherings and on trips together. Many of you might remember her smile most of all.

In August of 1948, Ruby married Albert Woods. They were married until his death in 1996. She worked 45 years at Bethesda hospital and enjoyed seeing the all those she worked with each day until retiring in 1991.

With the help of her daughters, she came to know Jehovah and was baptized on July 1, 1978. Working with many over the next 46 years.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Robert and James as well as sisters Thelma and Eula. Also by her daughter Regina Curry (Robert). She is survived by her daughter Deborah Mineer (Edward), grandchildren Dionne Campbell, Nina Curry, Joseph Campbell, and Shannon Curry. Also by Greatgrandchildren Robert Curry, Langston Campbell, Marvin Campbell and Yamaria Campbell. As well as 3 great great grandchildren.
