Ruth H. Butscha

Butscha (nee Herbe), Ruth H. age 89, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 27, 1928 to Bernard and Marguerite Herbe (nee Wilmes).

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernard C. Butscha Sr; three sisters, Marguerite Pick, Cecilia McKenna, Zita Knapp; her two brothers, Fr. Donnan Herbe, OFM and Jerry Herbe. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Diana (Harry) Wolery; her three sons, Bernard C. (Ann) Butscha, Jr., Gregory Butscha, and Mark (Barb) Butscha; her sister, Loretta Murnan; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

In loving memory of Ruth , contributions may be made to any Catholic Charity of your choice. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 4pm until 8pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home-West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Visitation, 3172 South Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45248. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery - New, 4500 Foley Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238.
