Sally Elizabeth Petrey

Petrey, Sally Elizabeth age 79, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 12, 1941 to William John and Mary Francis Smith (nee Evans). Sally was an avid bingo player at St. Teresa and St. Jude's. She loved her immediate and extended family including her church family from Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. Sally was a single mother who raised 3 strong boys and was a hard worker. She spent most of her working life at International Fruit Products in Lower Price Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-law, Carolyn Ingle, son, Curry Edward Ingle, Sr., sister, Peggy Kassow, brothers, Franky Smith, Lee Edward Smith, John C. Colwell, husband, Chester Pete Petrey, and husband, Carl Robert Ingle, Sr..

Sally is survived by her sons, Carl Ingle, Jr., and Jerome Henry (Victoria Bostic) Ingle; grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth (Brian) Colter, Carla S. (Joe) Simpson, Jonathan A. (Megan) Meyer, Jeremy Wayne Ingle, Jessica Dawn Ingle, Sarah J. (Ralph) Whitaker, Curry Edward Ingle, Jr., Joel D. Ingle, Winnie R. Ingle, Scotty D. Ingle; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren with 2 on the way; sister, Debbie A. Miracle; life long friend, Louise Linde; and a host of other family members and friends.

In loving memory of Sally, contributions may be made to Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, 1009 Overlook Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45238. Visitation will be August 4, 2020 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Burial will follow at Baltimore Pike Cemetery.
