Samuel "Sam" Raymond Clemons Sr., aged 79, born on December 5, 1942. Sam passed away on May 25, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.
Sam was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Liz, his son William Myers, his parents and his siblings. He is survived by his children Chevetta (Andy) Fitch, Beverly (Roger) Calvert, Richard (Kimberly Anne) Clemons, Michael (Andrea) Clemons grandchildren Stacy (Gene), Jason (Heather), Brandy (Larry), Mindy (William), Nikki (David), Stephanie (Scott) and Mary Kate. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Sam was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed being the President at Camp Turnabout, where he was surrounded by many dear friends. He enjoyed many years at Florence Speedway working the pit gate at turn 3. He enjoyed having coffee & walking through the flea market with his dear friend, and most of all spending time with his family. He touched the hearts of many. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
