Sandra Lynn Simpson

Simpson, Sandra L. age 63, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 18, 1960 to Doug and Irene Thornton (nee Steele).

She is proceeded in death by her nephew, Nicholas Cordrey and several cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. Sandy is survived by her beloved husband, Raymond Simpson, Jr.; parents, Doug and Irene Thornton; step-sons, Ray (Kelly) Simpson, III and Chris (Tonya) Simpson; grandchildren, Olivia Middendorf, Emmeline Middendorf, Cole Middendorf, Layne Simpson and Olivia Simpson; siblings, James D. (Jocelyn) Thornton, II, Aimee (Darren) Cordrey and Alex (Kate) Thornton; nieces and nephews, Richard Cordrey, Kate (Rob) Nield, Lacie (BJ) Widner, Zach Thornton, Monica (Sam) Hill and Gabe (Evin Avery) Thornton; and a host of other family members and friends.

In loving memory of Sandy, contributions may be made to The Littlest Tumor Foundation to research Neurofibromatosis at www.littlesttumor.org. A visitation will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm with a service to follow at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. Burial will immediately follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North.
