Scott Roberts

Roberts, Scott, age 39, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 4, 1979 to Ronald D. Roberts and Donna Nalls (nee Waltz).

Scott is survived by his beloved wife of 14 years, Crystal Marie Roberts (nee Broughton); children, Brendin Broughton, Jonathan Turner, Natalieann Roberts, Ronald "Junior" Roberts; mother, Donna (Bill) Nalls; sisters, Rhonda Bove, D.J. Roberts, Shonda (Mark) Harsman; his dogs, Charlie, Cash, June and the late Tabby; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.

Scott was known by family and friends as Scooty. Growing up, Scott was adventurous and loved to explore his surroundings. Family was very important to Scott and he enjoyed vacationing together with Crystal and the children. He enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with his father-in-law, Gary, and his brother-in-laws: Little Gary and Danny, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends working at the farm, making repairs, and taking care of the animals.

Scott was the beloved baby brother of his sisters. He loved spending time with them at family gatherings. Visiting and talking with his mom was something Scott enjoyed very much. He loved his mom. He found a close friend in his cousin, Jayson, who was just like a brother.

Scott loved spending time with his Granny, Marilyn Fagaly, at the farm. He also enjoyed family gatherings with Aunt Sandy and the rest of the family.

Scott readily gave of himself to others. He had the ability to make others smile and laugh. He was a source of joy for so many. He was well thought of in the community as he was always offering a lending hand to anyone that needed assistance. He volunteered regularly at the school, helping out where needed. He also acted as a coach for both Brendin and Junior's baseball teams. He had the ability to make friends with complete strangers and would talk to anyone. Scott was a very caring man who worked hard as an electrician to provide for his family. He was a valued employee at Schon Industrial where he was respected for his hard work ethic and devotion to the job.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions-Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231 followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 pm. Scott will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati Ohio 45231.
