Shane Robert Pate

Shane Robert Pate, age 37, of Walton, KY, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021. He was born in Florence, Kentucky on November 16, 1983 to Kevin Meade and Ida Elaine Dooley (Pate). Shane was a family man with a big heart. His family, especially his niece, was the center of his world. He was funny, smart and an all around gentleman. He went as far as keeping a bandana in his pocket anywhere he went incase someone needed it to wipe a tear. He was a collector of many things and loved the Dallas Cowboy's and had an overall love for music. Shane took pride in every aspect of his life and was very hardworking. Shane has left an unfillable void in many hearts and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, David Pate.

Shane is survived by his parents, Kevin Meade, and Ida Elaine Dooley; siblings, K.C. Meade, Kylie (Brittany) Meade; grandmother, Peggy Pate; maternal grandmother, Sandra Pena; aunts and uncles, Sonia (Derrick) Hays, Michelle (Eric) Bryant, Nicole Wood, Maria (Kiley) Pena, David Maxie (Danielle) Pate, Travis (Dakota) Pate; cousins, Tonia Bohan, Chad Pate, Candy Franklin, Megan Whitman, Keegan Wood, McKenna Wood, Kameron Pate, Leila Pate, Tristan Franklin; niece, Aizlee Meade; and a host of other family members and friends.

In loving memory of Shane, contributions may be made to the family to help defray from funeral costs.

Services for Shane will be held privately with his family and friends.
