Shelli Mae Ernst

Ernst, Shelli Mae age 59, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022. She was born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on September 10, 1963 to the late Glenn B. and Georgena Smith (nee Noe).

Shelli is survived by her beloved husband, Don Ernst; sons, Zach T. Hargrove, Zane P. Hargrove and Nick A. Ernst; siblings, Steven P. Smith and Sherri J. Thompson; and a host of other family members and friends.

Shelli's father was a Navy combat veteran on the U.S.S. Indiana during WWII. She was a lifetime animal lover and rescuer. She had rescued or helped rescue hundreds, if not thousands, of dogs and cats. She enjoyed spending time going to the casino and golfing with Don. Shelli was an avid UK football fan.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm with a Celebration of Life to follow at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
