Ries, Shirley Faye age 80, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019. She was born in Dunnville, Kentucky on October 12, 1938 to Ewell and Biddie Pierce (nee Tucker).
Shirley is survived by her beloved children, Herbert John (Robin) Marx, III, Kathy (Martin) Coletta, Lori (Jeff) Bailey and Robert Ries; grandchildren, Amanda (John), Dan (Kelsey), Holly, Emily, Jacob and Kayley; great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Caroline; siblings, Ron (Nancy) Pierce, Judy Fallin, Paul (Yuhuei) Pierce, Linda (Rodger) Hodge and Kimberly (Mike) Pidgeon; and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ewell and Biddie Pierce, Husband, Herbert John Marx, Jr. and Husband, James Ries.
In loving memory of Shirley, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with funeral ceremony to immediately follow at 12:00 pm on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery - 11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio 45246.
