Stephen G. Jansen

Stephen G. "Steviejay" Jansen, beloved husband of Melissa Jansen(nee Marzano) and loving father of Ryan(Caitlyn) Jansen passed away, at the age of 65, March 11, 2022. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on April 4, 1956.

Stephen loved "The Kentucky Derby", the Cincinnati Bengals, Louisville Cardinals and the Notre Dame "Fighting Irish". Proud Dixie Heights Football Team Alumni Class of 1974. Stephen enjoyed cooking and was especially known for his delicious "hot and spicy" chicken wings at holiday parties. He loved Christmas and picking out just the "perfect gift" for everyone that he loved. He had a passion for good music and enjoyed attending concerts of his favorite artists. In his early years he shared his love of music as a DJ at wedding receptions and parties.

His mother Elizabeth "Betty" Jansen(nee Ryan), father William Jansen, and brother John(Denise) Jansen preceded him in death. He is also survived by his sister Mary Beth(Mark) Wilson(nee Jansen). Stephen will be missed by all who loved him. Especially the extended members of the Marzano and Jansen family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor, to The Boone County Animal Shelter, 5643 Idlewild Road, Burlington, Kentucky 41005.

Memorial Service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, March 20, 2022 with a visitation from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
