He was born April 6, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Otto and Ruth (Laaker) Hessel.
Steven is survived by brother; James (Lisa) Hessel as well as sister in law; Connie Hessel. He is preceded in death by parents; Otto S. Hessel and Ruth E. Hessel as well as brother; Richard E. Hessel. He will be missed by a host of family and friends.
