Steven Douglas Goodall

Steven Douglas Goodall, age 69, of Erlanger, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 surrounded by family. He was born in Fort Thomas, Kentucky on September 20, 1954 to Thomas and Martha Goodall Denneman (nee Davis). Steve was a graduate of Newport High School and spent 20+ years coaching basketball, softball, and baseball. He was an avid UK basketball fan and proudly was the voice of the Newport Wildcats for 15 years. Steve's favorite people to cheer on and watch from the stands was his grandchildren, he enjoyed going to their sports and other activities. He loved his family so much, Steve's favorite thing to do with his family was going out to eat. In Steve's opinion the best food to eat was always chicken wings and getting to do that with his family was something he greatly enjoyed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Goodall, mother, Martha Goodall Denneman, step-father, Fred "Fritz" Denneman, brother, Timmy Goodall, nephew, Jason Goodall. Steve is survived by his beloved wife, Jenny Goodall (nee Spritzky); daughters, Mandy (Matt) Hook, Kelly (Brad) Gross, and Amy (Nick) Rice, his 4 grandchildren, Malory and Gavin Hook, Seth and Brach Rice, brother, George (Scarlett) Goodall, sister, Nancy (Dennis) Murphy, brother-in-law, Robby (Dawn) Spritzky, 2 nieces, 1 nephew; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, KY 41018. Celebration of Life will begin at 7:00 pm.
