Celebrating Her Spirit
Susan Olivia "Libby" Bolden-Robinson was born on February 20, 1963 to Corrine Belle Bolden and Thomas "Buster" Varner. She was one of five children: Debra, Colin, Diane and Donna Bolden.
She attended Withrow High School and graduated in 1982. She then went on to have her daughters Nikita (Nikki) Anderson and Brittney (Britt Britt) Bolden.
Susan was a strong black woman. She was loving, caring and gave to so many people. She became known as "Mama Sue" because she would look out for anyone in need of anything. Because of her love for Egyptian knick-knacks and artwork she was also called "Egypt". Everywhere Susan went she made friends and was loved by all.
Susan ran back into the love of her life Ralph "June" Robinson in 2004. They were married on July 8, 2005 and have been together ever since. Susan accepted and loved all his children as her own.
Susan last worked at Chester's lab. She became very close to many co-workers there as well as every place she had worked. She was admired by employers and employees throughout her life.
On April 7, 2012 Susan Bolden-Robinson was received into the hands of the Lord. She was preceded from this life by her mother Corrine Belle Bolden and Father Thomas Varner.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Ralph Robinson; children, Nikita Anderson and Brittney Bolden; step-children, Shannon, Toledo, Rique, and Krisheena Robinson; siblings, Debra (William) Reeves, Colin Diane, and Donna Bolden; Aunt Christine Commodore; Uncle Leon Bolden and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
