Susanna Acoff

Susanna (Ten) was born in Selma, Alabama to Leroy and Chattie Mae Acoff Sr. She was the eighth of ten children. The family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio when she was nine. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Elisha, Leroy Jr., and Tommy. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Willie Lee Morrow and Annie Bell "Nick" Acoff, and her significant other, James Hardin.

Susanna enjoyed the outdoors, music, and "breaking into singing". She had a big heart and her humor matched her heart! She made peace with God and accepted Jesus as Savior. She departed this life in peace and without pain on January 6, 2016. She will be sorely missed!

She leaves to cherish her memory six children, Christine Acoff, Leroy Acoff, James Acoff, (loving, excellent, committed daughter and caretaker) Tracey Acoff, Kimberly Acoff, and Brooke Acoff; grandchildren, Christopher Acoff, Leonardo Acoff, LeAndre Acoff, Antonio Acoff, Monica Amison, Isaiah Leroy D. Acoff, Shemaca Jacelyn Solomon, Nathaniel Winston Harper-Acoff, Keimiko W. Acoff, Tranicia W. Acoff, Kelisha W. Acoff, Anthony C. Acoff, Alexis M. Acoff, and Brooke S. Acoff; a host of great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mamie Dunton, Annie Pearl Brown of Mobile, Alabama, Bertha (Elijah) Vickers of Akron, Ohio, and Ethel Acoff (Joseph) Graham; 45 nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.



Funeral Ceremony will be 11:00 am Thursday, January 15, 2016 with a visitation from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
