Hawkins, Sydney R. age 82, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 28, 1936 to John and Margaret Hawkins (nee Heiney).
He was preceded in death by his parents. Sydney is survived by his beloved children, June "Charlie" Hawkins, Jerri (Jeff) Southerland, Joseph Hawkins; grandchildren, Brian (Melissa) Beckett, Aaron (Amanda McNabb) Beckett, Jessica (Zach Moore) Southerland, Johnathan (Ashley Griggs) Southerland; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joan (Vince) Barlow-Caldwell, Jack Hawkins; former wives, Joyce Wells, Sue Hawkins; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Sydney, contributions may be made to SPCA Cincinnati, 11900 Conrey Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249.
Memorial Service will be at 4:00 pm Saturday, December 1, 2018 with a gathering from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Newcomer Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
