Sylvia Clair Fields, age 75, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Christ Hospital. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 14, 1946 to the late Fred G, Sr. and Edith C Schreiber (nee Hunter).
She is the mother of Barbara Ann (Lee) McKinney, Mary Beth (Donald) Von Gries-Rutledge and the late Nancy Marie (Michael) Williams.
Sylvia is the grandmother of Sarah Von Gries, Crystal Backscheider, Kimberly Backscheider, Ashley (William) Dodd, Amber (Robert) Wuest, Thomas (Emily) Poor, Matthew Von Gries and Eric McKinney.
Great Grandma of Kylee, Brennen, Payton, Emily, Phalen, Ethan, Hunter and Elyse and great-great grandmother of Taylor.
Sylvia is the sister of the late Patrick William Schreiber and Gilbert Fred Schreiber.
She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a great-great niece and nephew. She leaves behind many other friends
She was always happy to volunteer, mentor and help others. As an AA Member, she mentored others at BLOC Ministries. Through her mentoring with City Gospel Mission, she became good friends with Elvira Hill.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Graveside Service, Tuesday, December 14, at 11:45 AM at Landmark Memorial Gardens, Glendale-Milford Road in Evendale
