Thomas Edward Green Jr.

Thomas E. Green was born on December 27, 1929 to the late Thomas and Theresa Green.He accepted Christ at an early age at the Maple Street Christian Church in Lockland, Ohio.He was united in marriage on August 16, 1953 to Himinna Gibson, who preceded him in death and of this union came six boys and one girl.

Thomas (a.k.a. Jake) served his country in the Korean War and the Reserve. Thomas worked at General Electric (Evendale, OH) and drove the school buses for Wyoming, Ohio.Following a motor cycle accident, Thomas health started declining – he resided at Tri-County Nursing Home for seven years.

Thomas departed this earth on Aught 16, 2012. He leaves to mourn his six children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, two sisters and extended family.

Funeral service will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231 on, Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held at 1:00 PM at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 West 3rd Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428.
