RAINES, Thomas Preston age 87, of Delhi Township, Ohio formerly of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014. He was born on August 29, 1926 to the late William McKinley Rains and Nancy Isabell (Sikes) Rains.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Edith Raines; grandchildren, Tasha, and Aaron; siblings, Paul, Toni, and David; Thomas is survived by his two daughters, Patricia Radford and her husband Dean, Nancy Drees and her husband Tracy; six sons, Thomas Preston Raines Jr. and his wife Juanita, Audie Raines, Terry Raines and his wife Doris, Billy Raines and his wife June, Dewgee Raines and his wife Debbie, Eddie Raines and his wife Brenda; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; siblings, Mable, Lee, Tootsie, Linda, Billy, Joe and Jimmy; nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Liberty Nursing Center of Riverview for their kind and excellent care.
