Thomas K Wessendarp, age 84, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 18, 1938 to Edward M and Ethel Wessendarp (nee Murphy).
He was preceded in death by his father, his mother and his grandson, Adam Haehnle.
Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, JoAnn Wessendarp (nee Schulte)
He is the father of Rebecca (Matthew) Haehnle, Matthew Wessendarp, Jeffrey Wessendarp, Sarah (Simeon) Morano and Nicholas Wessendarp. Tom is the grandfather of Brendan (Lindsey), Chase, Anastasia, Lucy, Gianni, Eva, Alan and Elaine. Tom has one great grandson, Gino. He is the brother of Sr Joan Wessendarp, SC and the former father-in-law of Melinda Wessendarp.
He was a biologist, with 46 years of service with the EPA. A Xavier and UC graduate, and enjoyed watching the basketball games and most other sporting events.
Visitation will be Friday, February 11, 2022 from 9:30 am - 10:30 AM in the Gathering Space in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 3450 Lumardo Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio (45238). Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery.
