Thomas M. Wethington, age 88, of Mt. Healthy, Ohio passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021. He was born in Casey County, Kentucky on August 31, 1933 to Robert J. and Cecilia A. Wethington.
Thomas was a Korean War Veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Zumbiel Box in 1995 where he worked for 35 years. Thomas was a member of the American Legion Post #513, The Moose Lodge, The VFW, and Eagles.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria R. Wethington, and parents.
Thomas is survived by his beloved children, Harvalee (Rob) Thomas, Brian (Annette) Wethington, and Robbie (Jackie) Wethington; grandchildren, Anthony (Christine) Wethington, Marinda (Kevin) Gampfer, Leslie (Chris) Hedger, Josh (Staci) Thomas, Greg (Shannon) Thomas, Cassandra Thomas, and Vince Vassil; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; sister, Inez (Jim) Overton; cousins, Todd (Deana) Overton, and Dawn (Andy) Greenwell; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Thomas, contributions may be made to Queen City Hospice.
Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. The funeral service will begin at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens on Compton Road where Military Honors will be held.
