Titus Miniard, age 55, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024. He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on June 15, 1968 to Carl Miniard and Myrtle Miniard Mayne (nee Hoskins).

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Miniard and brother, Greg Miniard. Titus is survived by his beloved mother, Myrtle (Arlie) Miniard Mayne; brother, Marion "Mack" Miniard; sister, Sheila Huff and brother-in-law, Chuck Huff; sister-in-law, Marquetta Miniard; nieces and nephews, Kelli Mahoney, Lauren (Brent) Leming, Jared Miniard, Amber Huff and Jeffery Huff; and a host of other family members and friends.

Titus loved the mountains in Harlan County where he spent a huge part of his childhood and young adulthood. As a child, you could frequently find Titus wading or playing in the creek hunting crawdads. As a teenager, Titus spent almost every weekend at the local skating rink where he loved roller skating. This changed when Titus could exchange his skate wheels for his own set of wheels that could take him places other than around the skating rink. He did enjoy his cars.

For most of his life, Titus was a hod carrier and worked alongside his father, brother, and brother-in-law on various construction jobs including the Bengals stadium. He was a Mason Tender in the Ohio Laborers Local Union 265. True to this, Titus loved putting gadgets and equipment together and making things with his hands. You could often find him in his garage making corn hole boards or working on other projects.

Some of Titus’ most enjoyed pastimes included working puzzles, shooting pool, and playing horseshoes and cornhole. Fishing, camping, American Indians, and an eagle in flight were among some of Titus’ favorite things. All of his life, Titus was a tried and true Steelers fan and loved all things Elvis. More than his love of the Steelers and Elvis, Titus loved his family-especially his mother, whom he absolutely adored. Oftentimes, Titus could be found reading his Bible as he searched God’s word for wisdom and understanding of the greatest love of all.

In loving memory of Titus, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org or St. Elizabeth Hospice at www.stelizabeth.com.
