ARMSTRONG JR., Tom, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. He was born in Ensley, Alabama on March 28, 1944 the son of Tom Sr. and Melisse (McCollough) Armstrong. Tom married Inez Moore on November 29, 1985 in Cincinnati, Ohio
Tom was preceded in death by his parents; his 4 brothers; and 1 sister. He is survived by his beloved wife, Inez Armstrong; 2 daughters, Patricia (Davey) Golly and Latasha Phillips; 1 son, William Stanford; 1 step-daughter, Wendy Moore; 2 sisters, Millie Harris and Lorraine Cole; 1 brother, Hollie Burrell; 10 grandkids; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law, Paula Murphy; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral ceremony will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211, on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Baltimore Pike Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
