Tommy Swafford

Tommy Swafford, age 73, of Green Township, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 3, 1948 to Thomas Burke and Rosa Lee Swafford (nee Marshall).
Tommy was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two Campaign Stars, the Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, two Over Seas Service Bars, the Good Conduct Metal and two Purple Hearts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and six siblings.
Tommy is survived by his beloved daughter, Tonya (Shawn) Henn; son, Brian Swafford; grandsons, Tyler (Kristen) Henn, Trevor Henn, Spencer Henn, and Gunner Swafford; great-granddaughters, Kyleigh Henn, and Kenzley Henn; brothers, Gary (Michelle) Swafford, and Ronnie (Ginger) Swafford; sisters, Judy Swafford Moist, and Marlene Crabtree; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Tommy, contributions may be made to the Veterans Administration.
Graveside committal services with Military Honors will take place on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231 at 11:30AM. Please meet at the family gathering area, to the left upon entrance to the cemetery, no later than 11:25AM to be escorted to the graveside.
