Tony "Little Beaver" Jenkins was born in Camden, Alabama on October 24, 1930, to Amos and Mary Jenkins. He was united in marriage to Catherine Jackson in 1951. Tony owned a painting and remodeling business for many years, where his sons joined him working side by side.
Tony was always willing to lend a hand to his family and his friends. He never met a stranger. He was the rock of the family, with a sense of humor that could light up a room, and a "death-grip" handshake that you'd never forget.
Tony will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his son Theopolis "Roni" Jenkins.
He is survived by his devoted, beautiful wife of 62 years, Catherine Jenkins; his sons, Eugene (Tonja) Johnson and Donald Jenkins; daughters, Sharon and Vera Jenkins; and a devoted daughter-in-law, Vicki Jenkins. He is further survived by 12 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; his two sisters-in-law, Hattie (John) Turk, and Maggie Bell Smith of Alabama; as well as a host of nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
