Tramaine Sims

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tramaine Sims, age 36, of Cincinnati, Ohio, who departed from us on January 7, 2025. Tramaine was born on October 19, 1988, in Cincinnati to Ernest Sims and Sheria Furr (nee Morris).

Tramaine is lovingly remembered by his mother, Sheria Furr; his father, Ernest Sims; his sisters, Shanik Sims and Jasmine Furr; his sons, Jalauni Hunter and Brandell Steele; his brother, Les Ayers; and a wide circle of family and friends.

A fond lover of youth football, Tramaine shared his passion with his nephews and his sons at a young age, by mentoring many youths. He had a spirited interest in luxury cars, especially his cherished Hellcat, and found joy in riding his motorcycle. Known for his sociable nature and humor, Tramaine formed connections with everyone he met. He left an impression on many people in a unique loving way. His generous spirit was evident in the way he helped those around him, serving as a steadfast support to family and friends alike. He was a remarkable father figure not only for his sons but for many in his life, proving to be a reliable friend regardless of the hour. Tramaine had a unique ability to solve problems and fix anything, earning the affectionate title of "THE GO TO MAN." he was loved by everyone that got a chance to know him. 

A funeral ceremony in his honor will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with visitation from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
