Vanetta Lee Lykins (nee Broughton) age 87, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022. She was born in Flat Lick, Kentucky on May 22, 1935 to the late Eli and Delora Broughton (nee Smith).
She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, McKinley Broughton, James Marcum Broughton, Lela Albert and Brilla Ramey. Vanetta is survived by her beloved children, Delora (Rick) Landon, Timothy Lykins and Michael (Pam) Lykins; special nephew and bonus son, G. Tate Williamson; sister, Bobbie Lou Williamson; grandchildren, Michael Lykins, Matthew Lykins, Stephanie Lykins, Savannah (Alec Driscoll) Lykins, Cory (Rosalind) Lykins, Brooke Copher, Nick (Kylie) Lykins, Skylar Lykins and Blase Landon; eight and a half great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In loving memory of Vanetta, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org. A visitation will be held Sunday, January 1, 2023 from 2pm - 3pm with a service to follow at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4350 Dixie Hwy. Erlanger, KY 41018.
