Vera Burger

Vera Burger was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friends to many. She left this world on June 2, 2022, at the age of 89.

She was born to Owen Brigmon and Dorothy Parr on June 25, 1932. After graduating from Lloyd High School, she married her sweetheart, Paul Burger on October 7, 1950. Together they had 4 children and enjoyed 50 years of marriage.

Vera was an avid bear collector. She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, theatre, music, home decorating and attending Madeira High School athletic events.

Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; son, David (Pam); and sister, Joyce. She is survived by children, Vaughn, Lisa (Bob) Bisbee, Eric (Kathy) Burger; daughter-in-law, Pam Burger; grandchildren, Angie, Lori, Michael, Katie, Neil, Sarah, Robin, Elle, Karlie, Keith and Jennifer; 21 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Services are scheduled for Monday, June 13, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45231. A visitation will be held at 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Following the service at the funeral home, interment will be at Rest Have Memorial Park, Plainfield Road, Blue Ash, OH 45242.
