Vera Mae Wogenstahl

Vera Wogenstahl, age 71 of Cincinnati passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2012. She was born on August 28, 1941 the daughter of Samuel and Hazel (Rollins) Gordon. Vera retired from Standard Publishing. She enjoyed cooking, camping, and spending time with her family, and playing cards for hours with friends and family. Yet, her ten grandchildren were her greatest pleasure in life. On April 27, 1962 she was married to Allen Wogenstahl, who preceded her in death in 2009.

She is survived by sons, Ron Wogenstahl of Hamilton, Randy Wogenstahl and his wife Lee Ann of West Chester, and Bill Wogenstahl and his wife Julie of Hamilton; her daughter, Janice Brockman and her husband Dave of Fairfield; one brother, Dave Gordon and his wife Helena of Cincinnati; and ten grandchildren, Kevin, Jordan, Taylor, Morgan, Corey, Rylie, Karly, Blake, Blair, and Brant. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters; and a brother.

Funeral service will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231, on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 10:30 AM with Pastor James R. Love officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM.
