Victoria Sinclair, known affectionately as Vic or Vicki, passed away on October 11, 2024, in Covington, Kentucky. She graced this world with her kind-hearted spirit since her birth on March 9, 1954, and during her years, she touched the lives of many.
Vic was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She leaves behind a legacy of love that resonates through those who knew her. Her mother, Ruth Walker (nee Gunkle), and her two sons, Colin ( Amanda Strayer) Sinclair and Dustin Sinclair, find solace in the cherished memories created over the years. The sparkle in her eye was always brightest when she was with her grandchild, Parker Sinclair, who brought immense joy to her life.
Vic was known for her kind heart and her fun personality, she never shied away from a good laugh. She loved spending time with her two boys and her grandson. Vic had a passion for sports; she especially loved watching the Reds and the Bengals play and she enjoyed playing fantasy football with her loved ones. She had a soft spot for animals and would often say her cat, Mojito, whom she rescued is the one who rescued her.
Vic dedicated her life to helping others, whether that be during her career as a Nurse at St. Elizabeth or her time spent as a Counselor at Wrap and at Droege House. She touched the lives of many throughout her life and she will be greatly missed by her family, her friends, and those who she helped along the way. She will be remembered for the joy she brought into this world and for her passion for others.
In addition to her immediate family, Vic is survived by her brothers, Michael (Heather) Walker and Kenneth (Sue) Walker, who together share in the mourning of their beloved sister. Paul Sinclair, the father of her children remained close friends and is part of the circle of loved ones who will miss her dearly, along with a host of other family members and friends whose lives she enriched with her warmth and kindness.
Victoria was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Walker, and her sister, Cindy Walker.
To honor the life of Vic, a visitation will be held at Mother of God Roman Catholic Church in Covington on October 25, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM, allowing family and friends a moment to reflect on the memories shared and the lives she touched. This will be followed by a Memorial Mass at 12:00 PM, providing everyone an opportunity to celebrate the life of Vic.
Rest in peace, dear Victoria; you will be truly missed but never forgotten.
