Our loving mother and wife, born April 15, 1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Coley Luther Sr. and Nozzie Bell (Lewis) Luther. She was preceded in death by family members Helen Luther, Robert Luther, Donald Luther, Mary (Miller) Luther, John Luther, and Florence Luther.
She leaves, not to mourn her passing but to celebrate her life, her husband and partner of over 54 years, Johnny Collins; son, John (Emma Jewel) Smith; daughter, Bonnie (Smith) Thompson; grandchildren, Kimberly (Juan) (Smith)(Gamble) Maso de Moya, Patricia Smith, Cheryl (David) Smith Hill, William (Ollda) Smith, Gerald Smith, Antoinette (Smith) Williams, Sheina Smith Newell, Darneta Smith; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; Aunt, Cora Cruse; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Cumminsville, 3640 Roll Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45223 on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 6:00 pm.
