Wehby, Vivian R. age 82, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024. She was born in Covington, Kentucky on July 2, 1941 to Fred and Helen E. Schmidt (nee Perry).
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Thomas Schmidt, Shirley Ewing, Marvin Schmidt, Mary Ellen Frisch, Audrey Barnhill Steele, Raymond Schimdt, Joan Lipscomb, Larry Schmidt, Philip Schmidt. Clarence Davidson, her first husband and father of her children passed on March 14, 2024. Her second husband William Wehby passed away on May 29, 2021.
Vivian is survived by her beloved children, Nancy P. (Brian) Miller, Daniel W. (Elisabeth) Davidson, William N. Wehby, Jr., Kenneth R. (Gemini McKenzie) Wehby, and Joseph A. (Tammy Butts) Wehby; grandchildren, Isaac Davidson, Hannah (Ben) Picton, Joel Davidson, Nathan Davidson, William N. Wehby, III, Kenneth R. Wehby, Jr., and Brittany Wehby; great-grandchildren, Penelope Picton, Oliver Picton and Clara Picton; Vivian is also survived by many nieces and nephews, who were very much loved.
Vivian retired from Frisch’s Restaurants after 24 years as a food service worker. Upon retirement she and Nick moved to Florida and lived and worked there for another ten years or so in the food service and cleaning industry before returning to the Greater Cincinnati area.
Vivian will be remembered for her audacious sense of humor and vivacious personality. She very boldly referred to herself as, “Bodacious Viv.”
She and her beloved husband, Nick, were legendary cut ups in and around their circles of friends. They loved playing cards and games and simply being a help to all their kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews and close friends.
Vivian was the last surviving of the Schmidt siblings born to Fred and Helen. She was humbled to be the last but certainly proud to carry on their memory. She missed each one of them every day.
A visitation will be held Friday, April 12, 2024 from 4:30pm - 6:00pm with a service and reception to follow at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 4350 Dixie Hwy. Erlanger, Kentucky 41018 .
