Walter Louis Beigel, 84, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Friday, March 31, 2023. He was born March 13, 1939 to Walter and Mildred Beigel (nee Niederegger).
He was preceded in death by his mother and father and his sisters, Jean LaHue and Lois Heubach.
Walter is survived by his wife, Mary Anne (Kelley), and his daughters Maureen Huber, Shari (Barry) Rieselman, Lisa (Carlos) Otero and Cindy Hill. He is the grandfather of Kevin Hill, Kate (Ben) Holley, Rob Otero, Christina (Matt) McIntyre, Joe Otero, Kelly (Bobby) Curtis, Michael (Shannon) Huber, Steve Hill and Lauren Hill. Walter is the great grandfather of Cole Curtis. He has many nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
Walt loved music and lettered in band at Western Hills High School. He continued to play the saxophone with The Wes Neil Orchestra, for weddings and other celebrations. After years in accounting, he worked in real estate as both an agent and a real estate appraiser. In his retirement, he was known as 'DJ Express' , playing music at events and in nursing homes. He also worked part-time at Spring Grove Cemetery and enjoyed the nature and peaceful surroundings.
