Walter Collins

Collins, Walter, age 84, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 30, 1931 to the late Estill and Marion Collins. Walter proudly served our country in the U. S. Air Force. He joined his Mason Elisha Lodge No 106 F. & A.M. Prince Hall in 1962. His hobby of tinkering with cars led him to develop a career as a mechanic and at one time owned his own gas station. Walter loved playing the lottery and visiting the racetracks.

Walter is survived by his six Children; Walter Michael (Renae) Collins, Sr. of Nashville, TN, Eric H. (Alem) Collins of Richmond, TX, Marian A. (Clinton) Ferguson of Cincinnati, OH, Lynn D. (Derrick) Dunn of Cincinnati, OH, Dr. Terrance A. (Jacqueline) Collins of Bowie, MD, and Darren V. Collins, Sr. of Nashville, TN; Grandchildren; Clinton A. Ferguson, Toyia Roberts, Walter M. Collins, Jr., B'Nai L. (Courtney) Townes, Mearaph Barnes, Darren V. Collins, Jr., Erica L. Collins, Stephanie L. Collins, Seneca Barnes, Maya L. Dunn, Lauryn N. Collins, Derrick Dunn, Jr. and Samuel Barnes; Great Grandchildren, DeShawn Roberts and Laila Townes; Longtime Friend, Gladys Lytle; and a host of other family members and friends. In addition to his Parents, Walter was preceded in death by his Brother, Charles Collins.
