Walter R Trischler

Walter Ronald "Ron" Trischler, age 87, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Ron was born on March 26, 1936, and lived his entire life in Cincinnati, a graduate of Purcell High School. He was a successful business man, owning and operating Metrodeck, Inc. for over 30 years. An avid and skilled golfer, his favorite course was Maketewah Country Club, where he also served a tenure as President in the 1980's.

Ron was also a pastor with The Vineyard Community Church, where his counseling and service to the community touched many lives. He was very generous with his charitable giving, donating to many organizations throughout his life. His impact will be felt for years to come.

Ron held many titles, but his favorite role was being a husband, father and grandfather. He was a kind, generous and loving man. He cared for his wife and family deeply, and was a wonderful provider. He was married to the love of his life Mary Lou "Louie" for 45 years. He is survived by her as well as his son Mark Trischler, daughter Stephanie (Craig) Smith, stepson Chris Bronger, stepdaughter Judi (George) Berger, brother Bruce Pitcher, granddaughter Alexandra, granddaughter Amanda, grandson Ronnie Lee, granddaughter Rebecca and granddaughter Lindsey, as well as many great grandchildren.

Ron is preceded in death by his father Walter "Bud" Trischler, mother Dorothy Pitcher, daughter Pamela McDaniel and grandson Markus Trischler.
