Wanda Lee Bailey (nee Said), 73, of Edgewood, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky. She was born in Dayton, Kentucky on May 4, 1947 to John and Margie Said (nee Randall).
Wanda retired from Kroger in about 2009 where she worked as an Advanced Meat Packer.
Mrs. Bailey loved to visit antique stores, flea markets and yard sales. She had a passion for sewing and quilting. Wanda also did hairdressing back in the day when beehives were the style.
She was preceded in death by her Father, John Said and Son, Robert C. Brown.
Wanda is survived by her beloved Husband of 50 years, Danny C. Bailey; Mother, Margie Said; Daughters, Fellicia Y. (Freddie) Partin, and Melissa M. Moyer; Grandchildren, Freddie (Samantha) Partin, II, Devin C. Partin, James M. Bailey, Derek A. Bailey, Robert K. Thompson, Robert C. Brown, II, and Saundra Brown; Great-Grandchild, Freddie D. Partin, III; Siblings, Shirley Faye (Reed) Bailey, Etta Mae McCoy, and John (Crystal) Said, Jr. as well as a host of other family members and friends all of whom will cherish her memory.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 17, 2020 with a visitation from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky. Burial will follow at Alexandria Cemetery in Alexandria, Kentucky.
