Wanda Knorr

Wanda Knorr, age 89, of Cheviot, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 11, 1932 to Shelvy and Nellie VanFossen (nee Ruble).

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brothers, John, Joseph, Kenneth and Robert VanFossen.

Wanda is loving mother of Kathleen Frech, grandmother of David (Paige Pickering) Frech and Joseph Frech, and great grandmother of Theodore Frech.

Wanda was a Past President of the Mack Fire Inc. Ladies Auxiliary and a Past President of Gailey Post No. 7340, VFW. She was known as "everybody's Grandma". She loved playing bingo - 3-4-5 days a week! As a BIG Cincinnati Reds fan, Wanda will be wearing a jersey and her pallbearers will be wearing Reds Logo shirts.

In honor of Wanda, if you can, wear something red to her services.

Visitation will Friday, April 8, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati (45211) from 10 AM until the funeral service at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Arlington Memorial Gardens.
