Wardell Zachery McCoy, Beloved son of Alcenia Jackson McCoy and John McCoy, preceded in death.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 17, 1949. He departed this Life on May 5th 2023.
He was known to his friends as Zeke.
Zeke attended Cincinnati Public Schools. He had served in the Military during the Vietnam War with the 101st Airborne Division. He was employed by General Motors as a Dye Press setter until it's closing.
He was united in Holy Matrimony, January 1st, 1969 to his loving wife, Brenda J. (Irby) McCoy, who stayed by his side until his passing. Zeke had a love for baseball from a child, was a great pool player and became a remarkable golf player.
He was a faithful friend and loved life!
He served as House Chairman of his Elk Lodge PRIDE of Cincinnati with pride,
He leaves to cherish his memory: 3 children, Darryl (Serena) Irby, Eric (Yakyma) Jones, and Onna Rolley.
12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. 2 sister's Linda McCoy (James) Rogers, Jaunetta McCoy; 7 brother's, John Douglas (Ella M.) McCoy, Larry McCoy, Daniel (Ojaye) McCoy, John (Bertha) McCoy, Stanley (Eri) McCoy, Gerard McCoy, Ricky (Wendy) McCoy and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, May 13, 2023 with a visitation from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
